Here’s what we ate today:

Me

Porridge 200 calories

500 ml leek bacon and potato soup and 50 g cheese 500 calories

2 chicken breasts coated in butt rub with lots of salad 600 calories (recipe)

Snacks: 2 x 50 g nuts and raisins mix, 33 g chocolate ~ 200 calories each

Which brings me in at a mere 1900 calories.

No breakfast

300 ml leek bacon and potato soup 200 calories

1 chicken breast coated in chilli, lime and breadcrumbs, 120 g of potato wedges and lots of salad 500 calories (recipe)

Snacks: 2 x 50 g Haribo, 50 g chocolate-coated raisins/cranberries ~ 200 calories each

A total of only 1300 calories

It’s worth mentioning that we are both feeling quite full and satisfied at half 8 this evening, despite the apparent dearth of calories.
